These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the DPS Pune East website located at dpspuneeast.com and all associated digital touchpoints including admissions forms, WhatsApp communications, RCS messaging, AI-assisted calls, and visitor management systems operated by Delhi Public School Pune East (“School”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), located at Kharadi, Pune, Maharashtra, India.

These Terms apply to all visitors, prospective parents, students, and any other individuals who interact with our digital platforms in connection with admissions for the academic year 2027–28 and beyond.

Information We Collect

When you submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) or interact with our website, we may collect the following:

We collect only what is necessary to process your admissions enquiry. You are not required to provide sensitive personal data (financial, medical, or government ID) at the EOI stage.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Processing and responding to your Expression of Interest for admissions to DPS Pune East for the 2027–28 academic year
• Scheduling school visits, open days, and interaction sessions
• Sending admissions-related updates via call, SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, or email
• AI-assisted follow-up communications to nurture your enquiry and provide timely information
• Sending reminders about the admissions process, including the draw of lots (lottery), documentation deadlines, and fee payment schedules
• Improving our admissions process through anonymised analytics
• Compliance with CBSE and regulatory requirements where applicable

We will not use your information for unrelated marketing or commercial promotions without your separate explicit consent.

AI-Powered Communications (RCS, Calling & Nurturing)

DPS Pune East uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to enhance our admissions communications and campus experience. By submitting your details, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Our AI communications are used for:

• AI Calling: Automated or AI-assisted outbound and inbound calls to answer admissions queries, schedule visits, and share timely information
• RCS Messaging: Rich, interactive messages sent to your registered mobile number with admission updates, event invites, and reminders
• Lead Nurturing: Structured communication flows that keep you informed throughout the admissions journey — from EOI to enrollment
• Visitor Management: AI-enabled check-in systems for campus visits and open day registrations
• Campus Kiosk: On-campus AI kiosk for self-service admissions queries and school information

All AI communication systems used by DPS Pune East are compliant with applicable TRAI guidelines and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

Consent to Contact

By submitting the Expression of Interest form or any other enquiry form on our website, you provide explicit consent to DPS Pune East to contact you via:

• Phone calls (including AI-assisted calls) on the mobile number provided
• SMS and RCS messages to your registered mobile number
• WhatsApp messages (where applicable)
• Email communications to your registered email address

Opting Out: You may withdraw your consent to receive communications at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by emailing us at admissions@dpspuneeast.com with the subject line “Unsubscribe”. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the validity of your admissions application, but may mean you miss time-sensitive updates.

Data Retention & Storage

Your personal data will be retained for the following periods:

• EOI and enquiry data: retained for 24 months from the date of submission or until the completion of the admissions process, whichever is later
• Call and message records: retained for 12 months for quality assurance purposes
• Enrolled student records: retained in accordance with CBSE guidelines and applicable Indian law

All data is stored on secure servers located within India. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Your Rights Under the DPDP Act 2023

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights as a Data Principal:

• Right to Access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
• Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal and operational obligations
• Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for processing your personal data at any time
• Right to Grievance Redressal: Lodge a complaint with our Grievance Officer (details in Section 12)
• Right to Nominate: Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity

To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Grievance Officer as detailed in Section 12. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Your data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

• Technology Partners: With trusted service providers who operate our AI calling, RCS messaging, CRM, and visitor management systems, strictly under data processing agreements that prohibit independent use of your data
• DPS Group Campuses: With other Delhi Public School campuses in Pune (Hinjawadi, Varanasi, Nashik, Lava Nagpur) for consolidated group reporting, only in anonymised or aggregate form unless you have applied to multiple campuses
• Legal Compliance: When required by law, court order, or regulatory authority

All third parties we work with are bound by confidentiality obligations and are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws.

Admissions Disclaimer

Submission of an Expression of Interest (EOI) does not guarantee admission to DPS Pune East. The admissions process includes the following stages:

• Expression of Interest (EOI) submission
• Parent and child interaction / assessment session
• Submission of required documentation
• Draw of Lots (Lottery) — where the number of applications exceeds available seats, selection will be conducted through a transparent, impartial lottery process as mandated by applicable education regulations
• Fee payment and enrollment confirmation

DPS Pune East reserves the right to modify the admissions process, seat availability, and timelines at its sole discretion, with reasonable notice provided to registered applicants. All decisions regarding admissions are final.

The fee structure mentioned on our website or in communications is indicative and subject to change. The binding fee structure will be communicated at the time of enrollment offer.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, images, logos, the DPS name and brand identity, the 4Rs Framework (Relevance, Relationships, Rigour, Reflection), the Success Mindset framework, the 16 Habits of Mind curriculum materials, and all associated educational frameworks — is the intellectual property of Delhi Public School Pune East or its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the School. Personal, non-commercial use for the purpose of evaluating admissions is permitted.

Limitation of Liability

DPS Pune East makes every effort to ensure that information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of any information, and we reserve the right to make changes at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DPS Pune East shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, reliance on information published here, or any interruption to our digital services including AI-assisted communications.

Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, DPS Pune East has appointed a Grievance Officer to address concerns related to the processing of personal data.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and applicable TRAI regulations governing business communications.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Changes to These Terms

DPS Pune East reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Continued use of our website or submission of any form after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
